Warring- If you have problems with other Lineage2 servers with linux it might be because of GameGuard that will not allow you to execute L2 as its a windows based program with little to no use on linux, my suggestion look for a lineage2 private server with no default GameGuard in their patch like L2S, otherwise this guide wont work on linux duh. I am extremely noob at anything java related, but a few friends and myself are trying to set up our own L2j server since we were wanting to play traditional Lineage 2 together, and we are not fans of GOD.
Enough said, My problem is this: I am getting a myraid of GameGuard errors when i try to launch my client to access my server.
My login and game server is up and running according to the databases and C: Command Prompts
my host file is edited accordingly:

127.0.0.1 update.nProtect.com
127.0.0.1 update.nProtect.net
127.0.0.1 L2authd.lineage2.com
I am only trying to access the Server Locally, and have the files for the L2j server on the same computer which i am attempting to access.
I followed the exact instructions from the L2j Wiki for setting up the server using MySQl and HeidiSQL. I did not use Eclipse.
I attempted to use easyPHP as one of the walkthrough's suggested but it was too confusing and the walkthrough was outdated.
Please let me know if i am missing some information here that is needed to help resolve these issues, and best regards to anyone replying here.

I actually operate Win7, but lineage 2 operates in Vista. I have changed how the program is launched but it always defaults to this.
I don't know if I am in the right forum. But here's my problem: I'm having a problem with gameguard. Everytime I open lineage there will be a gameguard error, and when I fixed it another gameguard error will appear. I've already deleted Gameguard folder from the system folder of lineage 2 then did an update/check of lineage 2 from ncsoft launcher but the error still appear. I've downloaded Gameguard directly from a trusted link and installed it, deleted gameguard from system folder of lineage 2 and checked it again from ncsoft launcher and it works because of direct gameguard download & install. Every time I restart my pc I am encountering BSOD on startup. I did a system restore and it works again.
Two things gotta be considered to determine if gameguard is worth it. Does gameguard actually prevent cheating/hacking? And what are the risks to a players.
